Residential Building G2 in Heiningen
The building features the austere simplicity of a prototypical residential building with two long sides and a gabled roof. Individuality and structural beauty are created by the asymmetrical roof shape and room-high windows.
The façade surfaces were designed and optimized to face south and west. There are generous room-high windows on both levels. On the north side, a staircase leads up to the upper floor; on the outside the carport offers covered parking areas and weather protection for the building entrance.
The single-family house has a classical basement with building technology room and storage rooms. The ground floor houses the living, dining and cooking areas as well as a guest toilet; the upper floor contains bedrooms and bathrooms and a study.
