Personal development, excellence and new tasks require reflection and regular training. With “Gaus Academy”, the company offers its own training series for the entire team.
It is within the framework of in-house training courses that special needs for further qualification can sometimes be better met, rather than through external events. This applies in particular if change processes are supported within the company. Topics such as quality assurance, innovation management and customer satisfaction affect all employees equally.
Gaus Architekten have numerous contacts to training providers as well as freelance lecturers and specialists from professional practice. In individual cases, GA employees with special knowledge and experience train their colleagues. Non-industry lecturers are invited to share new experiences with a “look beyond the horizon” of daily professional practice.
Whether interdisciplinary topics or specific questions are discussed: employees dealing with a specific topic can also participate in “their” training as a larger group. The respective lecturer is flexible and able to deepen individual points that might spontaneously arise in the course of the seminar. The exchange of views takes place directly and in a moderated manner.
In addition, the in-house training saves time for everyone involved – time that is otherwise lost due to long journeys to the seminar location. And what is especially important for architects with their legal obligation to undertake further vocational training: workshops and seminars within the scope of “Gaus Academy” are generally recognized by the Chamber of Architects after prior examination with credits for further training.
At least one “Gaus Academy” session is scheduled per quarter. Irrespective of that, the company also supports external training courses by covering costs and granting time off. GA employees usually attend events organized by the regional chamber group, the State Chamber of Architects or the Institute for Advanced Training in Building (IFBau).
