GA is growing – new Tasks and more Responsibility for Staff
Since its inception in 2000, the company Gaus Architekten has been growing steadily. From initially five to currently around 20 colleagues. GA will continue to expand: a delightful perspective for future employees.
Growth in this context means: more customers and orders, but especially larger and more complex projects. Continuity means: Growth without slumps, knowledge of their own strengths, courage to take on more complex tasks – and, not least, to remain true to their own demands for good architecture.
This philosophy which is also laid down in the mission statement has practical consequences for daily work and individual career planning. The company maintains a project-related work organization: Gaus Architekten plan and design, but are also regularly entrusted with the coordination and supervision of building construction. Furthermore, the directly communicate with the building contractor, the authorities, professional engineers and craftsmen.
Every employee enjoys the highest confidence and, as far as possible, can do their work autonomously and responsibly. This also applies to young colleagues and to newly hired employees. Binding for everybody: uniform specifications and standards concerning work organization, quality management, scheduling and cost budgets.
The continued and current flow of information between management, project managers and the overall team is ensured by an integrated software solution (Project Pro) and regular structured meetings. In annual appraisals individual feedback by the management is given – with the expectation of each employee stating his ideas about future tasks.
The positive business development gives every employee the opportunity to open up new areas of work and to take on more demanding tasks. The individual career planning is supported by the assumption of costs and exemption for external training as well as the exchange of expertise in regular in-house seminars.
